history CASALIMPIA was founded in 1959 by Hernando Giraldo Álvarez who worked as a journalist/reporter for the newspaper "ESPECTADOR". He began with twelve brooms, twelve mops, one floor buffing machine, one vacuum cleaner and one employee. In 1964 after 5 years or hard work and devotion, he was granted the cleaning services contract for the "El Dorado" airport in Bogotá D.C., Colombia and soon thereafter incorporated Casalimpia S.A.. During the next several years, Casalimpia worked very diligently for its customer base by improving their cleaning services and processes, entering the national market and consolidating their product lines. During the more than 48 years of Casalimpia's history, their most visible triumph was in creating a large family totaling more than 8,500 employees. Today, Casalimpia employees enjoy a higher standard of living whereby they can provide a home for their families and education for their children. CASALIMPIA has implemented new product lines such as On-Site Maintenance and Specialized Services to not only offer the most complete cleaning service but also to allow its customers to focus on their business activities and leave the cleaning to the experts. certifications and policy CASALIMPIA was granted the ISO 9001 Certification in 2002 for all product lines currently in service. CASALIMPIA'S policy is to it's commintment to quality, security and occupational health as follows: - Offer complete cleaning and coffee services, on-site tecnichal maintenance and specialized services in order to satisfy the needs of its customers.
